WAMELINK, established in Amsterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. We attach great importance to protecting your personal data and handle it with care.
1. Personal data we process
WAMELINK processes personal data when you use our services or when you provide this data to us yourself. This includes, among other things:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Content of messages sent through the contact form
- IP address and browser data (collected automatically)
- Data about your use of the website and interactions with our ads, through cookies and the Meta Pixel (only after your consent)
2. Purpose of the processing
WAMELINK processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Responding to contact requests and quote requests
- Performing agreed services and projects
- Sending invoices and handling payments
- Analyzing website use to improve our services
- Measuring and improving our ads, only after your consent
- Meeting legal obligations (such as tax legislation)
3. Retention period
WAMELINK does not keep personal data longer than strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Financial data is kept in accordance with the statutory retention period of 7 years.
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit the website.
We use the following types of cookies:
- Functional cookies: necessary for the website to work, such as remembering your cookie preferences.
- Analytical cookies: for keeping visitor statistics (anonymized). For this, we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not store personal data.
- Marketing and advertising cookies: for measuring ad results and showing relevant ads, for example through the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent through the cookie notice.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This may limit the functionality of the website.
5. Sharing with third parties
WAMELINK does not sell your data to third parties. We only share personal data with third parties if this is necessary to perform our services or to meet legal obligations. Examples include:
- Hosting provider (Vercel): to make the website available
- Email provider: to process contact forms
- Resend: to send business emails to companies (see section 6)
- Accounting software: to process invoices
- Advertising and analytics platforms (Meta Platforms and Google): to measure and optimize ads, only after you have given consent
We conclude a data processing agreement with all processors to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data.
6. Business emails to companies
WAMELINK sometimes sends companies an email about automating their administration. We only do this with legal entities, such as a private or public limited company, foundation, association or cooperative.
For this, we use the following data:
- Company name
- Business email address
- Name and job title of the contact person
- The public signal that prompted the email, such as a job opening, and its source
Legal basis. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Every email states where we got the address.
Objecting. Don't want to receive our emails anymore? Reply to the email or write to dennis@wamelink.design. After that, you will not receive any more emails, and we put the address on a block list so it is not emailed again.
Retention period. We delete data of companies we have emailed after 12 months without contact. We keep the block list, so that we keep respecting your objection.
Sending. We send these emails through Resend, an email service that may process data in the EU and the US.
Manual work test and AI receptionist demo. If you leave your details after the test or the demo, we keep your name, email address, company name (if you fill it in) and, for the test, your score and answers, or for the demo, which demo you tried. We do not keep your conversation with the demo. We only use this to follow up on your request. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by checking the box. We keep this data for 12 months. You can always withdraw your consent or have your data deleted through dennis@wamelink.design.
7. Security
WAMELINK takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. Our website uses a secure SSL/TLS connection.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your personal data
- Right to rectification (correction) of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure of your data
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to the processing
You can submit a request through dennis@wamelink.design. We respond to your request within 4 weeks.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we are not handling your personal data with care.
9. Changes
WAMELINK reserves the right to change this privacy policy. Changes are published on this page. We recommend that you consult this privacy policy regularly.
